We have finished our 3rd album "Transition”. For the first time in my life I don't get much joy out of it, although I really cherish this work. It is very significant at all that I had time to do it, because no one who lives in Ukraine now has any idea what may happen tomorrow. When we were starting it, there was a build-up of military forces near our borders and a local war going on in neighboring areas. During the time we were finishing the album it was already a full-scale invasion, with periods between air-raid sirens, occasional audible explosions and a constant background of horrible news.
It was finished in a rushed and stressful atmosphere. For that reason I suppose it may sound more raw than it could have been.
But that's what the album's sound particularly represents.
Since all the revenue from sales of the album will go to our army, we really hope that our music will become an effective weapon against our enemies and at the same time a medicine for ourselves and our listeners. And we will definitely win!
We call on everyone who does not tolerate terrorism, encroachment on sovereignty, looting, violence and genocide, to support us in the fight against them. All proceeds from the sales of this and other Monotonne albums will be used to buy equipment for our soldiers.
